Charmy Kaur aka Charmi was born in Mumbai is a Punjabi. She started her career in acting at the age of 15. Her first movie Nee thodu kavali is a flop at the box office. She acted in a couple of movies in tamil which also didnt do well.

It was in director Krishna Vamsi's Sri Anjenayam, with Nitin as a hero, Charmi was the heroine. Though this movie was a flop too, she got noticed well in the industry.
