Vedika Pooja Kumar aka Vedikha was born in Mumbai. She completed her schooling & graduation in Mumbai before moving to London for her post graduation. She has a Masters degree in Marketing.

Vedikha acted in a Music video, appeared in some television commercials. This paved way for her entry into the tinsel world. Her skills in various dance formats helped her further to strengthen her foot hold in the industry.

It was actor Arjun Sarja, who conducted her audition and signed for his movie Madarasi. This is Vedikha's debut movie. It was a bilingual, made in telugu & tamil at the same time. The movie did well at the box office. Actress Vedikha was then offered with roles in different language movies including Telugu & Kannada along with Tamil.

Tollywood Hero Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's movie Vijayadasimi was the debut movie for Actress Vedika in telugu.
